HESITATING GETTING ACUPUNCTURE?
Often, people don't come, despite being very interested in treating any condition that would tremendously benefit from acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. To reassure all potential patients who have fear of needles or what to expect - the needles are hair-width and are usually not felt when placed in different areas of the body. MOST patients do fall asleep on the massage table during a treatment and describe feeling a profound relaxation and similar to a good night's sleep!
I provide a very gentle and effective form of acupuncture.
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
* Acupuncture - Japanese Style - a more-gentle technique that incorporates a master style - taught by one of my well-respected teachers in Boulder, CO
* Facial Rejuvenation (cosmetic) - an energizing treatment for wrinkles in/around your eyes, mouth, forehead... and helpful for sagging, drooping skin.
* Detox acupuncture - a 5-point ear protocol known for its releasing, relaxing properties - for drug/alcohol rehabilitation, PTSD, insomnia and stress relief
* Chinese Herbs - usually patent form from a reputable American Chinese herb company in Albuquerque, NM.
* Shiatsu - a pressure-point massage known as acupressure which starts the energy moving and the relaxation process (performed at the start of every treatment session).
* Oriental Nutritional Counseling - based on Eastern medical principles and can be easily applied in each patient's daily life
* Lifestyle counseling - Eastern and naturopathically-oriented suggestions about exercise, emotional wellbeing and many other issues affecting your life.
